MEET RICHARD

I have been designing exceptional custom homes and cottages in Ontario since 2002. My education was completed at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture, where I spent 3 months studying in Rome as part of Waterloo's distinguished international program—an experience that has influenced my understanding of architecture as a dialogue between past and present, building and landscape.
My work has been featured in national design and lifestyle publications, recognized for its careful attention to site, materiality, and the way people live.
A true focus of mine is the collaborative journey with each client. I approach every project as a partnership, taking time to understand not just what my clients need, but what they value, and how I can best guide the creative process toward a timeless, unique design.
From waterfront retreats to family homes designed for generations, I believe architecture should seek to create environments that feel both rooted and uplifting. Spaces should flow with intention and be filled with natural light, resulting in a place where purpose and peace are woven into the very fabric of daily life.
